Sparkling Strands are not hair tinsel.  Sparkling Strands are made from a high grade polyester fiber, referred to in the industry as Thai silk.  They are able to withstand high temperature heat such as blow dryers, flat irons and curling irons.

Brush your hair! Brushing your hair before your appointment will remove some of the weaker hair and increase the chances of your sparkling strand being attached to a strong, healthy piece of hair.

Also, make sure your hair is dry and clean, free from hair products like hair spray.

Each sparkle is gently tied to a strand of your own hair using a secure, bead-free method, so it stays in place until your hair naturally sheds. Sparkling strands are heat-safe and resilient against styling, coloring, and daily care.

Sparkling strands will remain in your hair until the hair it is attached to falls out.  Therefore, it can last from a week to months.  I always add a few extra just in case one of the hairs sheds right away.

While I will place sparkling strands in girls’ hair, results will most likely be short term compared to adults due to more frequent shedding.
